Beginning Quilting - Friday
Learn the tips and tricks of quilting! This six week class will show you how to read a pattern, cut and piece fabric using flying geese blocks and squares to create a beautiful star. The last three weeks of the course will focus on the finishing aspects of sandwiching, (pinning), quilting and binding your brand new quilt! You need know how to use your sewing machine (i.e. how to thread your machine, wind the bobbin, sew a straight line, etc.) and have previous sewing experience. We must emphasize that this is not a beginning sewing class, but rather a beginning quilting class. We are offering this class on Friday morning.

A vase made out of fabric? It can be done! Everyone will go home with a vase in one of three shapes. We will start wth a tiny square vase to practice and then make one additional shape: Tall Square (Easy); Ginger Jar (more difficult); Curvy (most difficult). Come join us and learn to make these beautiful fabric vases.

These unique embroidery stitches in additional to using varigated and metallic floss creates depth and charm in your project. Finished size will be 10" x 15".
