Students are encouraged to bring their own sewing machines if they have them.  Students also need their own sewing notions/tools for class and sharing of supplies is not allowed due to possible cross-contamination.

Week 1 - Sewing 101 Introduction to Sewing/Learning how to use a sewing machine.
Week 2 - Pin Cushion.  Learn to machine stitch a pin cushion and decorate with a button using hand sewing.  Kit cost $5.00
Week 3 - Pillow Case.  Learn to make a pillowcase burrito style and learn how to make French seams.  Approximate supply cost $15.00
Week 4 - Cinch Bag.  Learn to make a small cinch bag with boxed corners to carry a cell phone, hand sanitizer or chap stick.  Kit cost $7.50
Week 5 - Small Decorative Pillow.  Learn to make a small decorative pillow for your bed.  This is a two-week project.  Kit cost $12.00
Week 6 - This class will be used to finish/decorate the pillow.
Week 7 - Face Mask.  Learn to make a face mask - one your friends will be envious of!  Kit cost $10.00
Week 8 - Doll Quilt. Time to expand your talent and learn basic quilting! Make a quilt for your American Girl doll! Two week project. Kit cost $20.00
Week 9 - This class will be used to finish your doll quilt.
Week 10 - Learn how to make pajama bottoms or shorts.  Kit cost $ tbd

Weeks 11 - 20 We have the following projects in the works:  water bottle holder, trick or treat bag, key rings, Christmas Stockings, Tic Tac Toe game and much, much more!
