Improvisational Piecing To Make Art Quilts
We are going to shoot for a 15" to 20" square, so bring a backing and batting for that size.
For piecing:
1/2 yard of black solid
1/2 yard of white or off white
Solid scraps or scraps with graphic shapes (I will share mine as well)
Rotary cutter
Scissors
Thread
Ruler for cutting
For assembly:
24" square of felt or batting
24" Fabric piece for backing
Stitching
#8 Pearl cotton thread (I will bring lots of my own for practice)
Needle.
