Learn the tips and tricks of quilting! This nine week class will show you how to read a pattern, cut and piece fabric using half square triangles, sashing, cornerstones and borders. The last three weeks of the course will focus on the finishing aspects of sandwiching, (pinning), quilting and binding your brand new quilt! You need know how to use your sewing machine (i.e. how to thread your machine, wind the bobbin, sew a straight line, etc.) and have previous sewing experience. We must emphasize that this is not a beginning sewing class, but rather a beginning quilting class. We are offering this class on Monday afternoon.

Did you get a new sewing machine and it's still in the box because you don't know how to use it? Let Francine show you how to thread your machine, load the bobbin and give a quick lesson on how to sew a pillowcase. This is a great class for beginners who are just starting to dip into the garment making pool. As you learn how to operate your machine, we will add classes to make sure that you progress in your garment making skills. Francine is a skilled garment maker and specializes in alterations, such as wedding and prom dresses.

This is a twelve month BOM. Each season will be three months. Block pick up will be the third Saturday of every month. There will be no class instruction with this program, however on-line tutorials are available.

This is an intermediate level class that will help you with new techniques and blocks that will take your quilting skills to the next level! This class will show you techniques such as machine applique, hand applique, and the more complicated blocks such as carpenters star, bargello and many more.

Come join us every first and third Wednesday of the month for fun and frivolity while we work on our Lori Holt projects, such as Bee Happy, Farm Girl Vintage, Quilty Fun, Bake Sale and others!

Learn how easy it is to quilt on your domestic machine. Cathy will demonstrate basic quilting designs and guide you during this quickie class to help you gain the skill and confidence of free motion quilting. Each class will focus on one specific quilting design. Quilt designs will include traveling leaf vines (perfect for borders!), curlie-Q's, hearts, pebbles, swirls, meandering, stippling, puzzle pieces, flower chain, feathers and much, much more!

Join us for Open Sew, Monday through Friday, 10:00am - 5:00pm. Come and sew with your friends all day for only $5.00! We have plenty of open workspace, comfortable seating, a friendly atmosphere and knowledgeable staff to help you with your projects.
