Learn the tips and tricks of quilting! This eight week class will show you how to read a pattern, cut and piece fabric using half square triangles, sashing, cornerstones and borders. The last three weeks of the course will focus on the finishing aspects of sandwiching, (pinning), quilting and binding your brand new quilt! You need know how to use your sewing machine (i.e. how to thread your machine, wind the bobbin, sew a straight line, etc.) and have previous sewing experience. We must emphasize that this is not a beginning sewing class, but rather a beginning quilting class. We are offering this class on Mondays and Saturdays.

This is QP's 2021 Block of the Month called Fabulous Fall This BOM will begin in January, 2021. The finished quilt measures 63" x 81". Each block features all the wonderful things we love about autumn; pumpkins, owls, turkeys, birds, falling leaves, acorns, etc. We made this quilt using a mixture of Riley Blake and Moda fabrics in plaids, oranges, browns and gold, in other words, all those beautiful and warm fall colors. The blocks are ready for pick up at the beginning of each month. This pattern is designed by Sandy Gervais for Pieces From My Heart. We hope you enjoy making this quilt as much as we did!!
